ming  > Nature > Show at 35,000 ft-Summer 2007
Most of clouds pictures were taken from the ground. On my way back to SAN from PHL, i had witness the spectacular thunderstorm clouds from the air. The route was from PHL to ATL, then from ATL to SAN. These clouds grow upward and developed into giant cumulonimbus clouds, High winds can flatten the top of the cloud into an anvil-like shape. The anvil usually points in the direction the storm is moving.
